A math whiz, Martinez plans to graduate and continue his education at a junior college and transfer to a 4-year university. Recipient of the Most Inspirational Award for the JV baseball squad in 2003, Martinez displayed the tenacity of a warrior and the heart of a champion as the team�s staff ace.
