The Conquerors came right back in the bottom of the first as Jesus Rivera got aboard on an error and Adrian Cota doubled in his 7th RBI of the year. Sandello's groundout drove in Cota and gave him the team lead in RBIs, along with senior Jason Estrada, with 11.
In the top of the 2nd inning, 3 walks, 2 hit batsmen, an error and a timely double led to 4 more La Habra runs. Sandello lasted only 2 and a third innings as he was unable to find the strike zone in today's brutal weather. Ahumada came in to relieve Sandello in the 3rd inning and pitched 4 and two-thirds innings, allowing only 1 run. But the damage was already done. The Conquerors failed to muster a consistent offensive attack as their offense was stymied by the duo of Hannah and Ruvolo.
