| Deceives the Eye was written about Lee and Chris when they used to operate as a shoplifting team. Chris was caught and sent down, despite using excuses such as Im from a broken home! In the video for "It Must be Love", Lee played the bee and Woody played the bird. Both Woody and Mike got married (to their wives, not each other), without the knowledge of the rest of the band. The band attended Suggs' wedding though. The video for "House of Fun" was filmed at a deserted funfair in Great Yarmouth. The ride on the rollercoster was marred by the fact that the bands loose change went flying from everybody's pockets! The cover for Wonderful was taken on the escalator on the Kentish Town Tube Station. Taking photographs were apparently not allowed, so the band were chased by security! The front cover for Keep Moving was originally going to be part of a commercial, but was cancelled as the band looked too unfit. For the front cover of Rise and fall, the band each portrayed one of the songs. Mike is New Delhi, Woody is Sunday Morning, Bedders is Calling Cards, Lee is Blue Skinned Beast, Chas is That Face and Chris is Or House. The Seven pose was so difficult to hold that Mike kept falling over. This can be seen in the Shut Up video. For the cover of One Step Beyond, Suggs, Mark and Chris had to lean on a bar for the almost impossible pose. The bar was then airbrushed out. |
