BIOGRAPHY
 
Jimmy Fallon was born September 19, 1974 in Brooklyn, New York.  He joined "Saterday Night Live" on September 26 1998 as a featured player, and the following season he was promoted to cast member status.  Since 2000, he has co-anchored the "Weekend Update" news segment with Tina Fey.
 
Fallon's recuring characters include Jerret, the host of the webcast "Jerret's Room"; not-so-kind computer speacialist Nick Burns, "your company's computer guy"; Pat Sullivan, The boston teenager frequently video taped with his girlfriend Denise (Rachel Dratch); Wade, a member of the boyband 7 degrees celsius; and Kip Bloder, who cracks jokes at a clip pace with his brother Wayne (Chris Parnell).
  He has also amazed audiences with impressions of David Bowie, Bill Bradly, Pat Caddell, Nicolas Cage, Jesse Camp, Steven Cojocaru, Harry Connick Jr., Tom Cruise, Carson Daly, Alan Dershowitz, Jow DiMaggio, George Gaynes, Gilbert Gottfried,  Tom Green, Buddy Holly, Enrique Iglesias, Mick Jagger, Rick Lazio, John Lennon, Marilyn Manson, Dave Matthews, Ewan McGregor, Dennis Miller, Van Morrison, Ralph Nader, Todd Newton, Keanu Reeves, Chris Rock, Adam Sandler, Jerry Seindfeld, Richard Simmons, Howard Stern, French Stewart, Jimmy Stewart, Sting, Michael Stripe, Hillary Swank, Niel Tennant, Justin Timberlake, Billy BoB Thornton, Steven Tyler, and Robin Willians!!..   Raised in Upstate New York, Fallon began his comedy career at 17 when he took teh stage at a local club and won a Best Impressionist contest.  He has performed stand-up, characters, and impressions across the country with regular apprearances at top clubs such as the Improv in Los Angeles and Caroline's Comedy Club in New York, to name a few.  He has also worked with the Los Angeles-based improv/sketch comedy group The Groundlings.
  In 1999, Fallon wrote a book with his sister Gloria, titled "I Hate this Place: The Pessimist's Guide To Life."  Fallon was cast as Dennis Hope in Cameron Crowe's " Almost Famous" in 2000.  This fall, he released his first comedy album, "The Bathroom Wall,"  Featuring songs and stand-up comedy.
  Fallon's television credits include "The 2002 Primetime Emmy Awards," " Last Call with Carson Daly,"  "Late Night with Conan O'Brien,"  "Late Show with David Letterman,"  "The Oprah Winfrey Show,"  "Spin City,"  "The Tongiht Show with Jay Leno."  He appeared as Lt. George . Rice in an episode of the HBO miniseries "Band of Brothers" in 2001.  He also c-hosted "The 2001 MTV Movie Awards" and hosted "The 2002 Video Music Awards."
