Resmiranda glowered at the men working below. They called this sailing? Ha! More like a bunch of pigs scuttling across the deck of her ship. She'd teach them sailing yet. Catching hold of a rope that hadn't been properly secured, she swung down to the lower deck and shoved the blonde boy out of the way. "Your mother's sewing knots wont cut it on this ship, boy. Now watch me. Left over, Right around, Right over..." She paused and looked behind her at the entrance leading below deck. "Have Hugh show you how to work the others," she said as she walked off. "I've gotta go see what them blasted boys are doing to the prisoners." The redhead ducked under the lintel and jumped the steps to the next level. Shoving her way to the back she stopped and planted her hands on her hips. "I thought I told ye lot to let the lady alone! Now git back on deck, all of yeh." She glowered at the last of them as they left up the stairs.
Settling down on a crate she smirked at the girl in the cage. "I'm sorry 'bout that, Highness. The boys on this ship can be a bit rough. They don' understand that a delicate flower such as yerself requires special handlin'. They don' understand royalty. But I do. Too well do I know the royalty. Tha's what keeps me above them all. Now, is there anything you be needin' right now?"
"Aye, there is." She glared back at the girl. "For you to die." She turned away and faced the opposite wall. "I'd rather die then to receive anything from the likes of a pirate."
The pirate smirked. "Those be some mighty harsh words comin' from a girl in yer possition. Besides, I'm not out t'get you. Nor am I yer normal pirate. So I'd appreciate it if you kept such harsh judgements to yerself." Rising she turned to a crate and lifted the lid. "How about a drink?" She lifted a bottle of wine and two glasses. The glasses she placed on another crate nearby and with her knife, popped the lid off the bottle. Letting the foam run a moment, she poured one glass and held it toward the Lady. "Here, Milady. This'll calm yer nerves."
She glared, then smacked the the wine out of the pirate's hand, watching it fall and the glass shattering in red liquid. "No, release me now."
The girl watched the glass fall and only shook her head. "Waste of a good vintage..." She threw back her own drink and smacked her lips with pleasure. "I'd like to let you go, but unfortunately that's not me decision t'make. Ye'll have to take that up with the captain."
"Fine. Show me this captain of yours." She muttered in disgust. She promptly turned her back and ignored the girl.
