| A Winter's Day | |||||||||||||||||||
| The sun shone brightly on the snow, A woodpecker pecked at a tree, A cardinal and his mate flew by, A beautiful site to see. Some squirrels were chasing each other, The chickadees sang a sweet melody. There were bluejays at the feeder Eating some sunflower seeds. The ice on the trees was glistening, Painted by The Master's hand. It shone like the finest diamonds, A winter wonderland, To see this scene from my window Knowing God created it that way, I am blest beyond measure. Thank God for this winter's day. |
