A thoasand questions rushed through her mind,
He was so gentle and ever so kind.
Yet she never saw it, was she blind?
She was trapped, her love to him it binds.
She never thought that this would happen,
For she only liked him, now her love was given.
She was but on unwanted maiden,
And his face was cool, clean-cut and shaven.
What could he want with a girl like her?
She wondered again and it brought a tear.
For she was afraid, losing again she feared,
The touch of his lips was happiness sheer.
She thought again, whether she was boring,
Perhaps her presence was truly uncomforting.
Hurt surged through her body, convulsing,
And she sat on the ground, silently sobbing.
An embrace so warm he always gave,
Just to please him, she'd even be a slave,
Caught in the web of a dark enclave,
She'd sacrifice herself for the love he gave.
Did he know, about her love so deep,
And his smile in her mind, she would forever keep.
At the thought of that, he heart made a leap,
And she crushed to the ground in a helpless heap.
Her love so deep she longed to show,
But she didn't know how, she did not know.
She uttered a tired sigh and bent her head low,
Her love for him so deep, she wished he'd know.
