Forever
The night wind blew and tingled her skin,
The feelings she hid could no longer be kept in.
With one honest confession, he changed her self,
She longed only for him, nothing mattered else.
A sigh of contentment she quietly heaved,
He too was contene. Her scent he breathed.
The longing from so long, pulling them together,
She made herself a promise, her love shall never waver.
The flames of passion burnt deep and warmed his aching heart,
And he pulled her closer, to soothe the wounds that scarred.
She smiled unabashedly, and leaned against his strength,
Her love flowed like a river, like waters never banked,
He felt sheer happiness as he gently cradled her head,
He awed and worshipped her, for happy he was made.
She lifted his hand to her mouth, soft lips brushed his fingers,
He knew the scent of her, in his mind will always linger.
She kissed his fingers again, so soft and so gentle,
She was his light in the dark, his one and only candle.
She knew she belonged to him, no one but him only,
With his arms wrapped around her, gone were her worries.
He tilted up her face, loving eyes met,
He was free at last, to be loved he finally let.
Her love for him ran deep, as did his love for her,
And they knew this love was now, and forever and ever.
