Fallen Angel
Darkness crept up her motionless form,
Dark hair tousled, by the wind she was borne,
Emerald eyes sparkled with undoubted scorn,
But even with that, she still looked so forlorn.

Shadows engulfed her slender figure,
She belonged to no one, a wanderer.
Not one person ever set eyes on her,
For she was no one, she was forever.~

Both arms raised to the heavens, helpless was her plea,
Chained down she was, she wanted to be free!
She dropped her head as she realised it was not to be,
But deep in her cold heart she pleaded desperately.

A sudden breeze tousled again her silky dark hair,
And she closed her eyes, breathing in the air.
She wanted a life, she wanted to share,
She wanted everything, but most of all to care.

The chilling wind sent her a cold caress,
And even in the wind her hair was never a mess.
Cold or not she could not care less.
She didn't think she would ever pass this test.

She arose slowly, her footsteps light,
And she bored herself into the dark night,
Broken wings she had and longed to take flight,
But the moon so far above it, was nothing but a sight.

Silver-green eyes sparkled in a veil of tears,
The hurt and confusion she felt was not something so mere.
Her pleading cries no one will ever hear,
For after an eternity, she has shut out her fears.

A sudden breeze whipped her hair across her face,
Striking against her skin, as pale as old lace.
She let her thoughts wander to a far away place,
When she was once pure, and in his grace.

Her broken heart will never be mendable,
And to fly again she will never be able.
Her anguished pleas will never be heardable,
For she fell from his grace. The fallen angel.
