| A major focus of my research is documenting the descendants of my great-grandfather Richard Sanders. Eventually I will publish this research. It will be entitled something like - |
| RICHARD SANDERS 1831 - 1894 SAILMAKER OF NORTHAM, DEVON WHO EMIGRATED TO AUSTRALIA IN 1851 |
| This publication will document Richard Sanders' ancestry in Devon and also that of his wife Elizabeth Jane Pennock whose parents hailed from Essex. Richard & Elizabeth Jane Sanders (nee Pennock) had 8 children of which 6 married and had offspring. Richard's son-in-laws' were a Morris, Gunn and Cadd and daughter-in-laws' were a Bragg, Jose and Wormington. The origins of these in-laws will also be documented. The Morris's hailed from Pembrokeshire, Wales, the Gunn's from Sutherlandshire, Scotland, the Cadd's from Buckinghamshire, England, the Bragg's from Warwickshire, England, the Jose's from Flores Island in the Azores and the Wormington's from Worcestershire, England. |
