| At the moment i have 35 tracks which i have to whittle down to 12, and it's really difficult. there all my babies, but i have to be clever and decide which ones will work best comericially. there are songs i've written which mean a lot to me, but ther are better songs by other artists. i want the best album possible and if that means not every track written by me, that doesnt matter- Im not precious. the albums basically a mixture of great pop songs, some ballads, and some big beats. ive been lucky enough to work with quite a few different producers : Steve Lipson, whos worked with Annie Lennox. He did my last single and hes a good friend. I also worked with Pat Leonard, whos famous for doing madonnas albums. Ive written 5 tracks with him, including Kepp on Walking, which is an anthem. It's massive, possible my second single, and im really excitred about it. Song To...... is for whoever u want it to be, though its actually about my son Jack. Its quite emotional. Or im sure it will be when i sing it on stage, and im very proud of it. Feel is very sexy - its about taking someone to bed basically. Don't ask what the video for that'll be like! hehe. Believe is a pumping-beats songs that you play loud while driving. Its cool. the whole albums been recorded live, with live instruments. Well apart from two tracks, by Greg Alexander from the New Radicals, Rollercoaster and Heal Me. i also recorded a cool song by Bryan Adams called The Way You Make Me Feel - I love it. When the world was mine is the most amazing song i have ever been involved with.... they're all great and all mean something different to me. For me this is like starting over again but that's healthy for me - Its up to me to prove i an do it on myown |
