| April 12, 2002 I did another mandatory support group meeting today. My last one , but I will continue to go to them as my work permits. I lost 10 pounds,.... YAHOOOOO only 5 more to go as long as I can keep off the 10 ha ha ha ha. Meeting was same as usual, talked about the procedures, ect. I didnt realy learn anything new. I am still waiting paciantly for April 24th , my first Doctors appointment with my primary doctor. I will see yah then. |

| April 24, 2002 Today I seen my primary docter for the first time. we did a routine physical. We also talked about my surgery, he said he has no problem refering me to the surgery!!!Yahoooo. I also did some lab tests, thyroid is fine, kidneys are working properly, liver is fine, but get this, my cholesteral is to Low, ha ha haha, I have to lauph at that!! My blood pressure is great, oh and I did gain one pound back, ick, gotta lose 7 pounds to meet my 15 pound mandatory weight loss. I have an apointment for my yearly OBGYN ( yuk) on the 13th of May and I aslo have an apointment on May 10th for my mandatory gal bladder ultra sound and pulmunary ( lungs ) Tests. I have to make one more appointment, a sleep aptnia . Its not mandatory at this point, but I am going to do it anyways wile I wait for the surgions consultation apointment, he may them order for me to do that test, so if he does I will have already done it. That much faster for my surgery date!!! My docter is going to send all my medical record asap, and I sent in my intake papers today!!! whoohoo. I have to wait to hear from the nurse in lebonon , thats my next step!!! see you soon. |
| May 10, 2002 Well today I had my gal bladder ultra sound and my pulmanary testing. It all went well, I still have my obgyn appointment to go to and after that I should be all set for tests so I can meet with the surgeon. Oh and still gotta lose that 7 punds, yuk. See you on my next adventure. |
| June 10, 2002 A lot has happened since my last entery. I got my results from my gal bladder test, I do have gul stones, ick gotta have my gul bladder taken out when I have surgery. No biggie, Kill two birds with one stone I guess. Also have to go in for another pap smear, a double ick for that!!!!! I guess something came up abnormal, so they are going to do a biopsey, hope all is ok, you know how your mind can play tricks with you . I got great news, I have an apointment to see the nutritionist, bad news is its not until october 8th, wow so far away!! well one step closer to surgery, after I see the nutrtionist I will get an appointment for my sergion consultation. I dont think surgery will be till Febuary, with the holidays and waiting list. Oh well at least its this much further. I think I am going to go ahead and make an apointment for sleep apnea, and a cardiac test. I dont want them to tell me at the last minute that I have to do that, so wile I wait I will go ahead and do some more testing that they may require me to do. Boy what an Intence physical I will have!!! |
