Memorial To Lady

Unfortunately on March 7, 2001 we came home to find that our house had caught on fire. The only ones home at the time was Lady, the cats, and the cavies. Lady suffered burns on almost half of her body. She was healing up very well. New skin and hair had started to grow back in on her face. Then on April 5th she sufford kidney failure. After spending all of the next two days transferring her back and forth between two vets. That were 20+ miles apart. It seemed as though her kidneys had started to function again and she was going to make it. Then on the evening of April 10th I relized what I had to do especially when she looked at me with those big brown eyes as though to say to me make it all stop Mommy. The next day I took her to the vets and the toxins in her blood stream were so high the vet doesn't even know how she was still alive, they had hit her brain also. We love and miss you.

Lady's personal info. She was a four year old dalmation. Her birthday we had decided was Sept. 15. We got her in October of 1998. She came to us from an abuse case she was a rescue dog. Lady was as the vet said between a year and fourteen months old when we got her. She was an extremely important part of our family. Her likes included food especially what ever you are eating. Playing with her rope bone. As well as tug of war, fetch and an empty soda bottle is her favorite toy. It makes lots of noise. She also enjoys chasing our cats just for fun when she catches up whith them she bounces around and tries to get them to play. They just look at her likes she is crazy and walk away. Her other favorite thing to do is maul me when I get home from work. Dislikes people crying, load noises, being told she can't eat the cat food and being told that she is not people. Oh yeah her full name was Lady Belle of Carniage it suits her very, very, well.

Please support your local Dalmation Rescue Group. They have the most lovable and caring animals. They are thankful to get a good home finally. I know because she was a rescue dog.
