(mine, not Picasso's), be warned, for the other great loves
of my life also lurk within these virtual walls.
"Who are they, and why should I care?"
you may wonder, as well you should.
Good questions!
Here are some answers:
1) Kids. I love working with them. They make life interesting and fun. (Coincidentally, I have three of my own. You'll be introduced to them here.)
2.) Books. You've seen them,you've read them ... they're some of your best friends! (If you don't like to read, what are you doing on a computer?) My focus at this time is going to be on children's books, especially those in the Accelerated Reader program. Look for some of my favorites.
3.) Animals in general, especially pets. I'm not overly fond of sharks and mosquitoes, but many animals inspire my undying love. Whether as family, friends, or simply fellow earthlings, these creatures rule.
4.) Music. Traditional jazz and oldies/classic rock are my favorites. From Ella Fitzgerald and Louis Armstrong to the Fab Four ... and a little beyond. I'll even divulge my favorite radio stations.
5.) Television. This includes my favorite, the ever-elusive Quantum Leap.
6.) Movies. I like comedies, romantic films, and psychological thrillers. Action flicks that consist primarily of cars and guns and blood leave me cold. I need an actual plot, and I don't mean in the ground. (That said, I might add that some of my favorites do include several Hitchcock films....)
7.) Home. Like Dorothy said, there's no place like it.
