| Kit Kat (our second cat to bear that magnificent name) likes to help edit my webpage. I think she secretly likes my mouse better than hers. She is a beautiful blue-eyed Siamese who came to live with us after her previous owner found her father was allergic to cats. Kit Kat adopted Mau, a neurotic but loveable tortoise-shell cat we owned for about four years. Both were indoor pets. Oddly enough, although we found that Mau carried feline leukemia, Kit Kat was resistant to it. We imagine she was vaccinated early in her life. We wish all our cats had been. Mau died in 2000. Kit Kat roamed the house, calling to Mau, for some time after the younger cat's death. A new cat named Tilly has moved in, a former room mate of Eve's from Memphis. So far, her antics mostly annoy Kit Kat, but I'm hoping eventually they'll get along, too. |
