We want to thank everyone who contributed to our very first Great Strides walk! We ended up having great weather, and the kids had a great time playing at the park before and after the walk. The loop at the Rochester Municipal Park is actually only about a mile, and you were just supposed to walk it twice or as far as you wanted:) Sponsors of the walk provided lunch and some great prizes for a raffle. John's mom had shirts made for us with a picture of Mary and the date of her birth and death (eleven years ago exactly on the day of the walk). Our donations totaling $380 also earned us three Cystic Fibrosis Foundation t-shirts! Thank you again! |  |
