| Adopting Lady We went to Special Pals and looked around. The first dog I picked out was very hyper. My hubby said, "I don't think you want that one, let's keep looking." So we did, and I noticed Lady. All the dogs were running back and forth in there cage and barking, except Lady. She was just laying there. On her history page it said she was 8 years old. I thought, I don't want a dog that already lived most of her life. So I looked around some more, but kept coming back to her. So we went to the play area and she was really sweet. So I decided to take her. She has been with us now for about 8 years. She is a good dog and I'm glad something kept pulling me back to her cage. It has been two years later and I had to put lady down June of 2003. She was a very special dog and I was very blessed to have her in my life. We will miss her very much, but are grateful for the time we had together. |

| Adopting Daisy We decided to get a second dog. I wanted a smaller and younger dog. Maybe a lap dog. So this time we went to the SPCA. I wanted to bring Lady, to make sure she would get along with whoever we adopted. The SPCA said we couldn't do that. So Knowing there are several places to adopt animals, we went to Mongomery Humane Society. Went thru the same rutual. First dog we picked out, couldn't be with other dogs. Then there was Daisy. She was sitting in here cage so prim and proper. The paper said she was 9 months old. So we went to the play area. Both dogs got along. So this was it. We brought her home the next day. When I took her to the vet for her check up, he told me she is only 5 months old. So it must be a guessing game on the age thing. |

| I've always wanted a horse. Since I knew what a horse was. Well 30 something years later it happened. It came around that a horse could be in my life. That in turn led to buying Holly. About a year later we bought Nigel. And then Holly had her baby. I have had more joy with these horses over the past couple of years, I cannot put it in words. God has blessed me over and over. I want to thank everyone that has made this possible, and you know who you are. Holly's first baby, Elizabeth, went to a good friend of mine, and now I have Holly, Cassie, and Moose. I trade Nigel for Moose. I know some people think I'm crazy, but I really liked moose and Nigel went to a good family. |
