My Rules:
1. No Frankendolling! Don't take any part of my dolls, cut them up, put them together with other doll parts and claim them as your own. That is NOT cool!
2. No Stealing! Don't take any of my dolls and claim them as your own. I've worked hard on these and they're my creations.
3. If you want to adopt one of my dolls then you must put a link to my website near the doll.(not on a links page) A text link is fine.
I know I know rules stink...but they are also very important.
Why you ask? Well there are several reason, but here is the main one:
Art, whether it be drawing, writing, painting, or dolling, is very personal, even if it is just a hobby.
When you steal someone else's art you are stealing their creative expression, a very important part of them!
You're also stealing from yourself.
I know that sounds so trite but it's true. If you don't practice you'll never learn. If you want to be good at dolling or writing then you have to practice!
I know it's hard becaues I'm going through it right now. I just started dolling a year ago and it's a long, slow process to learn how to doll well.
But trust me when you do, it is definitely worth it to see something beautiful that you created. The hard work makes the results more sweet!
So very long story short: Don't steal okay? You're not only robbing yourself, but you're stealing something precious from people
(and that tends to get them mad! :)
