What is WCCE2001?
The 7th World Conference on Computers in Education (WCCE2001)was held in Copenhagen, Denmark July 29th - August 3rd, 2001. Over 1200 delegates from 66 different countries attended the conference. Technology Directors, Teachers, University Professors, Principals, Policy Makers, Curriculum Designers, and a variety of ITC professionals attended an array of program activities, including presentations, workshops, professional groups, keynotes, working groups, discussion groups, excursions and social programs.
There were a variety of themes addressed at the conference, with the overal goal to explore the use of ICT in education, share experiences, and predict trends for the future.

Out of this conference, a 'Learning Community' of conference delegates has evolved. These delegates have decided to continue to share common interests and ideas, to stimulate global dialogue and to launch projects through the use of ICT.
