| Nova is a band out of the greater Tampa Bay area of Florida. They have jobs, yes, but they feel it is their responsiblility to aviod the responsiblities of the common job and play music instead. Formed sometime in November of 2002 through the common rituals associated with musicians, (drugs, sex, panhandling) they decided to combine their somewhat talents into a force to be reckond with. What do they sound like? The usual answer is "whatever isn't cool right now." Expect distortion, walking bass lines, enough drum fills to dam a canyon, reggae, echoes, spurts of calmness, intrumentals, spontaneous songwriting on stage, rawful grace, and the occasional wrong note on purpose. They plan on recording and touring for the rest of their lives. |
