04. Millennium
I'm not sure why, but this episode seems a little overlooked. I think it's so nicely creepy! Perhaps "the kiss" and the Frank Black/ Millennium elements overshadow the basic plot. I haven't been this creeped-out since Die Hand Die Verletzt. There's just something about Heaven, Hell, and Death: you just don't play around with that stuff!
One thing I love about the X-Files is that evil and wrong can wear any face, and that it is always exposed in the end. I guess Mark Johnson really believed that he was doing the right thing--he was blinded and deceived.
I'd really like to go back and see Millennium now, but, alas, I don't have FX. There are lots of sites for this Chris Carter show. Just surf the web for 'em if you're interested.
By the way, about that kiss--nice touch, don't ya think?
