06.  The Goldberg Variation
A pretty good stand-alone, but The Goldberg Variation fits into that Season-7 kind of 'File which is more interesting than suspenseful or scary.  I guess that this may be the core of the complaints of some fans, because I do notice, now that I've had a little time to reflect upon Season 7, that there aren't as many actual "monster" characters.  I do enjoy these episodes.  I enjoy them a lot.  But I am ready for some cool new characters like Tooms, the Fluke, and even those nasty Home folks!
As I have stated, this is a perfectly good episode.   I especially like the light-hearted moments, and the morality questions involved.
