Scuba Diving
in
Newfoundland
Scuba diving in Newfoundland waters can prove very challenging and rewarding.  Divers who are equipped for the cold water temps are rewarded with clear visibility and abundant marine life.  Conditions are considered sub-Arctic year round, so a dry suit is not really a necessity, but certainly a bonus.  My favourite place to dive is the Notre-dame Bay area situated on the NE coast of Newfoundland.  This area is an ideal spot for sighting icebergs and whales.  There are few wrecks in this area, so my main ambition for diving here is the Oceanic Scallop.
The main dive sites are just minutes from my Dad's cabin via his 18' boat pictured above.
