| Artistic Approach Her art works are intimistic and incarnate the perception of her life, reflecting in this an understanding of the human existence. ''I see the main challenge of the existence as the search for an equilibrium in the daily game of trying to understand the human reality: taking successive risks, destabilizing, establishing relationships, breaking up, breaking off, mourning, being struck with amazement, discovering, having insights; a game of life and death. The instaurating process of my art works is characterized by the production of meanings. The archetypal images of the game, the children, the old person and the house with its furniture are conducive wires.'' The photographic image is the main stimulation to initiate every work. The image is as well a crossing from a medium to another. The mediums are mixed in an installative approach. The collage, as a concept and as a work method, is central to her practice: from painting to printing; from the object to the light, to the space. The collage is a phenomenal reflection of the human existence as a game. |
