senatorial bet, Loren Legarda, takes time out from her campaign rallies
to visit market places to get the views of the masses, especially the
vendors and consumers, on issues like the current prices of fish and
other basic commodities.
She pointed out that the economic crisis which hit the Asian region recently should unify our people to help the administration continue its stable economic reform programs which among others is based on foundation of forging peace and harmony among all sectors.
Our stronger currency programs, spearheaded by President Fidel V. Ramos and ruling party presidential candidate, Speaker Jose de Venecia, according to Legarda, have enabled us to recover more quickly than our Asian neighbors from the recent economic crisis that hit the region.
