Miscellaneous Stuff contains all the other things that appear in DK2 and don’t fit in the other sections.

Gem Blocks

Gem blocks are a godsend (or is that a devilsend? Oh well). They give the keeper that owns them unlimited wealth, and is also a good way to get high level Imps. But competition for them will be hot; so if you get hold of some make sure you keep them. A good way to do this is to have your guards patrol to a guard post nearby. Alarm traps are also very useful.

Gold

However, most of your riches will come from gold. You’ll get about 3000 gold from each block of gold, so you can estimate the amount gold you’ll get, and so make plans about future purchases. If you place treasuries near gold and gems your Imps will not have far to travel, so you’ll get rich faster. See the rooms section for more details.

Mana Vaults

Very useful areas that let you be a little more carefree when casting spells. They generate 100 mana/turn. You can build traps on them to make the enemy work to take them from you. They look pretty too.

Magical Items

When playing the game you may be lucky enough to come across a magical item or two. These are very useful items and can swing the game in your favour, and so therefore are often well guarded or hard to reach.

The different Magical Items are:

Receive gold: You get an amount of gold delivered to your treasury, I think it’s about 10,000.

Receive Mana: Your mana reserves are increased.

Receive Imps: You gain extra Imps.

Make Happy: All your creatures are made happy.

Raise Level: All your creatures gain one level of experience. Save this for when it counts.

Heal All: All your creatures are healed back up to full health.

Make Safe: All your walls are re-enforced.

Reveal Map: Shows you the entire realm.

Secret Level: Only in the campaign mode, you can unlock secret levels with these.

Dizzy Imps: All your opponents Imps are immobilized for a short period of time.

Make Unsafe (or something like that): All your opponents’ re-enforced walls are turned back into bare rock.

Make Unhappy: All your opponents creatures become unhappy.

Did I forget any? Let me know.
