Sorry I haven't blogged in a long time, but, oh, I've been busy! Working on different things, like my family website, which I haven't worked on (except for a little this fall) for about 2 years or more! I already have a Family recipe section, and I've added another page to that, but I've added a new page "Friends' Favorite Recipes" and it's already 3 pages long. I think maybe eventually I could put together a cookbook--kinda like the ones they do for churches or clubs, if I only had the money to be my own publisher! LOL

I've also been working, with 4 of my sisters and my brother on a Family Heritage Album, or rather a series of them. The first book has photos and information on my great-great grandparents (back to the civil war), and my Father's life up until the met my mother. That's only up to 1947! It's a big undertaking because we will do a book on my mother's life up until the same year. My father owned his own business and it really grew, so we'll be putting that in there. Meanwhile, my brother is scanning photos like crazy and giving them to us on CD's so we don't have to use the original photo and can change the size and edit them as well for scratches, etc. We'll keep the originals in special boxes designed for photos. We'll end up with 20 books we figure. We are nuts about Creative Memories and have all their equipment (my sister is a consultant for them). Now, my bro isn't too much into scrapbooking, but he likes seeing the stuff and choosing the photos and the scanning. It is time-consuming because my parents both took tons of photos. Then my dad also had two billion slides. We're handing that problem to a company online that does these and turns them onto DVD's to watch.

If all this wasn't enough I chose right before Christmas to completely organize my whole house. I got most of it done with help from a friend, but I still have another 2 rooms to go. I have a big house with 3 bedrooms and 2 baths, a living room, dining room, kitchen and utility room. Still, I'm having fun and time is definitely not dragging!

Also, I've made up (for the billionth time) with my darlin' boy, so my heart is singing--no sad songs either. Now if only I could stay on this diet, all things in my life would be almost perfect! Ha! (Well as good as it gets until you get to heaven, anyway)
