Christmas Plans
I've finally got my tree decorated and today I hope to make some cookies and other goodies for friends and family. Lots of plans, as I'm sure everyone has, for the holidays. Going out to dinner with some friends Saturday and then back to my house for games like Mexican Train (dominoes) and Skip-Bo (cards). I'll need a dessert, of course, and will be making that today or tonight, and finishing my wrapping tomorrow morning.
Sunday my sister comes in from Kentucky and I have plans with the family that day after morning worship. Of course, Monday is Christmas Eve and most of our family will be going to our favorite restaurant for dinner and to see "National Treasure" at the movies. I'm cooking a turkey and making stuffing to bring to my sister Carolyn's for Christmas Day. I'll be bringing some sugar free dessert and regular dessert over there, too, plus loaded up with presents for people.
I actually got my packages shipped out in time this year for various people out of state and my cards are sent as well. I may actually survive the holidays one more time! Seriously, I love this time of year and hope that you all do, too. To all my friends who may occasionally be taking a look at this blog, I send all my wishes for a most memorable, safe, and merry Christmas and may 2008 be one of their best years ever!
