A Piece of My Mind...

WARNING: Rant. I'm thinking of just giving up on this blog; I don't think anyone is reading it any more--they're all over at Facebook or MySpace. Probably because things actually work right most of the time over there. Frankly, all my reviews have disappeared months ago, one of my photo spaces on the page doesn't work right, My Flickr Photostream is now out of date and has been for a few weeks, and now all my groups have disappeared. And Yahoo 360 doesn't seem to give a darn. Evidently from what I've read at forums, they are planning to launch a whole new system and so have just given up on keeping the current 360 working right. It's too bad, I love to use my avatar here and it's the best place to blog or the easiest, but I get the least traffic here now compared to my MySpace page and Facebook. I have more friends and family over at those places, people don't seem interested in getting a Yahoo 360 page. The backgrounds here are dull and they never add new ones, you can't add your own HTML with any degree of success and can only do that little bit in your blog which doesn't sit on your main page anyway. The few things I liked (reviews, display of groups, display of photostream etc) are not working right. There is no way to get a personal reply it seems to problems whereas I get immediate response at Facebook. MySpace seems to be on top of the problem when there are glitches so I don't have to email them. When I put a photo into the blog I have to make it teeny-tiny, compared to Facebook and MySpace. But the again, the main reason I guess I will give up the blog here is that no one much is reading it. Mainly because I can't get anyone to sign up and make their own page, none of my nephews and nieces want to blog here because it is so limited. They love changing their layouts at MySpace every few days and there are so many places to get layouts and so many different layouts. Unlimited amount of things you can add to both MySpace and Facebook. Too bad no one from Yahoo 360 will read this and take a few hints, either. If you have a problem they seem to insist that you get help from other people not Yahoo 360 (at the forum). It's nice to be able to ask questions there, but no one can answer with authority but Yahoo 360 themselves. In other words, don't call us, go ask someone else. Not a good way to run things. When I find a place online that I have to search everywhere to find where to email them, whether a business or just for fun, I find it does not bode well.
