| Chapter one 'Brian's point of view' "WHAT" I practically screamed at out manger Michael Salls. He had called an emergency meeting at Jive records for one reason or another. I almost didn't make it because I was at Disney world with Leighanne. I looked around the room at the other guys. Their expressions just as shocked as mine. Now I wish that I didn't make the meeting. "I said Nick's parents have committed him to a hospital in Tampa." Michael repeated slowly. "Why, what for." AJ said so quietly it scares me. AJ never talked quietly. " We all knew perfectly well why....this has been coming for months now." Mike replied slightly raising his voice. " We all know that Nick has been starving himself for God knows how long so don't act so surprised." I was starting to angry and I could tell that Kevin was too. He was talking with no compassion in his voice....like he didn't even care that Nick was in the hospital. But at the same time, I was angry with Nick. How could he starve himself like this? And it must have gotten even worse then the last time I say him for him to get committed. We have been on break for about a month or so so I haven't' seen any of the guys. "How can they keep him in there? He is over 18 years old." I asked with disbelief showing in my tone. �Well.... His parents took him to court to get right of his health and they won. So now he's stuck in a hospital getting treatment." Mike informed us/ "then how come we didn't hear about it. I mean he's a Backstreet boys...how did it all escape the press?" Howie finally said. H hadn't said a word since the meeting began. "Well..." Mike began "We did an awful lot of covering up...we don't want the press to know how sick Nick is. As it is we are filling an order against Nick stating he has to get better before the tour starts or he will be sued for violation of a legal contract. That was it. That's all that needed to be said to set everyone, especially Kevin into frenzy. The three of us had to hold Kevin back from jumping up and killing Mike.
