| The Slayers Dawn of a New Age Chapter 3 The Charade After a long journey on the road Omar, Zel and Amelia finally made it to Lunas house. Her house is full of beautiful flowers and in the back theres plenty of grapes, which the kingdom of Zefielia is famous for. The walls of the house are baby blue with white trim on the doors and windows. The group of friends hopped out of the carriage and walked slowly to the front door. Lunas house was full of life. Blue, white, and a touch of pink, all in pastels colored the mid-sized house. Omar walked forward and knocked and the door. A few moments passed and then came the voice witch sounded like all the angles in the heavens singing, a voice sweet as honeydew in the morning after a mid-nights shower. Ill be there in a moment. Another moment passed and the woman opened the door to show herself. Shes about 56, her pale purple hair glimmers in the sun as if it was metallic, her eyes are as clear as the sky above, and her high cut skirt shows off her silky smooth legs, and an ass to boot. Her high cheek bones makes her smile even more enchanting. Hello my name is Mellarune She said with a wink. Omar couldnt hold back his shock. Could this be the Mellarune I left behind he thought to himself. Omar looked her up and down, and then finally spoke. You turned out better than I thought you would. Mellarune only smiled, Ill take that as a complement from you. I heard so much about you. Zel said. Only good things I hope. Mellarune replied, and they all shared a laugh. Then Omar broke the tension, Where is my mother? The look on his face and the tone of his voice were as cold as the highest peak on Mount. Kakorot surprised all that saw him. Come with me. Mellarune said, and the all followed her to though the house and into the back yard where his mothers body now lies. Theres about 20 chairs, with an ile in-between two sets of ten. Omars aunt, Luna is about half-way from the between him and his mother. Omar walks toward his mother and ignores the words from his aunt, But stops right before he gets to the alter. The others only look on with curiosity when Omar says, This isnt funny. * * * Gourry and Tyrone finally get to Lunas house but Gourry is to excited to see the sign next to the stairs. Tyrone stops to read the sign, The death of a loved one, Lina, youll always have a place in our hearts. Tyrone frowns and scratches his chin, Hmm, where have I... She Gourrys wife! . Tyrone doubles the pace when Gourry starts to walk in the house. Wait up Gourry! Tyrone shouts at him. * * * Omar turns to see his aunt squarely in the eye. Explain yourself. You mother died after being bitten... Ill hear not any more of your lies! Omar interrupted Explain yourself! Omar starred on with a cold glare. Luna looked down to her gloves and before she could begin to say anything Gourry came out the back door Hey, everyone I home. Everyone starred in awe, then the silence was broken. Tyrone grab Gourry by the shoulder and said, The person in the coffin is your wife, Lina. Gourry began to sank down, No Lina, Im just to late. Gourry climbs back up to his feet and walks over to his wives deathbed. Oh Lina, you cant die before me. Gourry scoops Lina up and holds her body tight. Lina. Gourry sheds a tear and it splashes on her forehead. Lina begins to open her eyes, Gourry you big dummy, where have you been? Every eyes go wide except for Lunas and Omars. Gourry looks deep into her eyes and says, Lina your alive. Mellarune looks around and the finally eyes her mother, Mother can you explain this to me? Omar turns to His aunt again, Yes an explanation would be nice. Gourry helps Lina out of the coffin and puts her on her two feet. I can explain, I just wanted to see my son again, its been so long I forgot what you looked like. Lina grabs Omars face, with a palm on each cheek. She then look to Mellarune. Mellarune we had to make it as real as possible, so we couldnt tell you. Mother how could you do this to me?! If you just wanted to see me I would of came, but you put me through hell. Omars squeezed hes hands so tight his knuckles were white. Tears began to squeeze out of his tightly shut eyes. Omar. Lina began. No, I should be happy, after all father is back with us. Omar looked up to see his father and mother together once again, and smiles with tears still flowing from his sockets. Omar Lina said once again, and he went over to hug his dear parents. |
