Early War Scenarios

American Invasion

Description: Having beaten the British and French, the Germans grow bold.  A force of Germans, through the use of U-boats and fast ocean liners, has arrived at the coast of North Carolina.  They struck, somewhat foolishly, near an army training base.

Forces:

Germany:

2 infantry platoons with landing craft

1 Panzer platoon, counting as amphibious

America:

1 infantry platoon from the Late War army list

1d6 hunting-club mobs

Layout: The area is a beach, with woods close to the center.  A road runs parallel to the beach 12” away from the shore line.  There is a road leading to the shore that ends 6” away.

Starting Positions: The Germans start 24” away from the shore.  The soldiers and the hunters start on the road.

Objectives: The Germans must hold the small road for 2 turns with no Americans within 6”.  The Americans must prevent this.

Special Rules:

Hunting-Club mobs: 5 hunters each, having the profile of American infantrymen

They can be equipped with either shotguns or hunting rifles.
