Scenario: Attack the Castle! Part 3

 

Description: A French relief force has arrived to save the castle.  The English turn their attention to it.

 

Forces:

English

1 company of 12 knights

1 company of 12 longbow men

2 companies of 12 militia

3 espringels

1 cannon

 

French

1 company of 12 knights

2 companies of 12 mounted knights

2 companies of 12 militia

 

Layout: The There is a road down the middle of the board.  There is a hill on the French side of the field.

 

Starting Positions: The French set up 6” away from the hill on their board edge.  The English set up 12” away from the hill on their side.

 

Objectives: The French must destroy 2 artillery pieces and remove 12 men off the English board edge.  The English must prevent this from happening before turn 18 so as to give the other forces time to prepare.  If the French only do one, then it is a draw.
