Late War Germany v4.2

Special Rules:

Deterioration: The Wehrmacht was rapidly falling apart.  The use of foreign and old equipment was widespread; therefore, a force can purchase antitank weapons and vehicles from the early and mid war army lists without penalty.  Also, a Panzer Zug can be equipped with T-34 and M4 Sherman variants with a doubled point cost.

Half-tracks and transports: There was a shortage of halftracks in the war.  Roll 4+ to use each half-track or transport vehicle.  If the roll fails then the troops inside it have to deploy on foot.  Antitank weapons and light support weapon squads, except for static ones, can be transported in one-horse wagons.

Kampfgruppe: Due to the Ad Hoc state of the Wehrmacht, after platoons are purchased, squads and vehicle platoons can be combined based on their methods of movement.  Therefore, a Grenadier Zug can have a PaK 40, a Schwere Panzer Zug can have a Wirbelwind, and so on.

Officer: Gets a 4+ save if wounded.

SdKfz 251 upgrades: Heavy camouflage (5 points), rear MG34 (6 points).

Vehicle Machine guns: Each vehicle can exchange their MG34 for MG42 for 1 point each.

Veteran: A squad can be upgraded to veteran for 10 points.  Add +1 to each Soldat’s shoot and courage value.  The whole platoon must be upgraded.

Zimmerit: Gives the vehicle a -2 to wound rolls in HTH.
