I am a member of the Jamaica Combined Cadet Force.
Since 1993, while attending
Camperdown High School, I joined the Cadet Unit there, and where I was also prefect -1997-98.
I graduated from Camperdown in 1998, but continued to 12T, leaving in 1999.
After, l I continued in the cadet force by joining as an NYA (Not Yet Appointed-
Adult Rank in Training). I was too young to be promoted had one outstanding
course, so I got promoted as a Adult Sergeant from in
the year of 2000, after my eighteenth (18th) birthday. I have been attached to St. George's
College Cadet Unit, in the Second Battalion (2/JCCF) until 2007.
In April 2007, I was promoted to Adult Staff
Sergeant (S/Sgt) with effect February 2007, and appointed as Regimental Quartermaster
Sergeant (RQMS) of the Second Battalion ("Second To
None!"). So now I'm attach to Headquarters of the Second Battalion
(HQ 2/JCCF).
I was a member of the Circle K, and as been appointed as the Spiritual
Director at VTDI (2004-05).
I was also the President and co-starter of the Christian Fellowship (now
University and College Christian Fellowship -UCCF) at VTDI (2003-05).
