Anguish (Bigas Luna). Weird, good psycho horror film. Nice widescreen print, with trailer. DVD. NTSC. 10
Anthropophagous the Beast (Joe D'Amato, AKA The Grim Reaper). Fully Uncut copy of D'Amato's infamous nasty. Better than most people would have you believe. 6
Anthropophagous 2000 (Andreas Schnaas). Uncut 1st generation copy of the German DVD release of this already-infamous gore film, a remake of/tribute to D'Amato's 'classic'. 10
The Arcane Enchanter (Pupi Avati, AKA L'Arcano Incantatore). Extremely rare, excellent return by Avati (1996) to the horror genre. Uncut, English subtitled, widescreen screener. 7
Ark of the Sun God (Antonio Margheriti). Uncut adventure film starring David Warbeck. 7
The Art of Dying (Álvaro Fernández Armero, AKA El Arte de Morir). Acclaimed Spanish horror film from 2000 - sort of like a cross between I KNOW WHAT YOU DID LAST SUMMER and a Philip K Dick story (I've seen several Spanish films recently that have been very Phil Dickian in style...) Lovely widescreen, subtitled copy from Spanish DVD, plus trailer. 10
At Midnight I'll Take Away Your Soul (José Mojica Marins). Marins' official debut is a mind-blowing film. Uncut English subtitled Something Weird print. Rare. Highly recommended. 8.5
Autopsy (Armando Crispino, AKA The Victim, AKA Macchie Solari). Horror film/giallo. Fully uncut, widescreen (1.85:1) + trailers. DVD. NTSC. 10
Auto-stoppeuses en Chaleur (Claude Bernard-Aubert). 1979 French hardcore film featuring Brigitte Lahaie. This is a 1st generation copy of the French DVD and is in English. I also have a slightly different version of the film, as 'Two at Once' (see separate listing).
Awakening of the Beast (José Mojica Marins, AKA Ritual of the Maniacs). Excellent DVD transfer of this previously unseen Coffin Joe film (from 1969) about drugs. Subtitled, widescreen + interview with Marins.
The Awful Dr. Orloff (Jess Franco, AKA Gritos en la Noche). Franco's famous first horror film. Widescreen. 9
Bad Guy (Ki-duk Kim). Acclaimed recent Korean film. Subtitled.
Bad Lieutenant - Ferrara's masterpiece (one of the best American films ever made). Laserdisc. Fully Uncut + Original (withdrawn) Soundtrack. Very very rare. 9
Bad Taste (Peter Jackson). Uncut + Making of. 9
Baise-Moi (Coralie/Virginie Despentes, AKA Fuck Me). Fully uncut, subtitled, widescreen copy of this new French hardcore sex/violent thriller. Be warned - this is not a very nice film! Not as good as its reputation might suggest. NTSC. 8.5
The Ballad of Cable Hogue (Sam Peckinpah). Fairly rare humorous Peckinpah western. Surprisingly good. Uncut, off satellite TV. 10
Barbara Broadcast ('Henry Paris'/Radley Metzger). Another of Metzger's acclaimed porno-chic 70's hardcore films, this time from 1977 (this was Metzger's penultimate hardcore film, and his last really well known hardcore film). Uncut copy. 8.5
Baron Blood (Mario Bava). Laserdisc. Uncut. Widescreen + Trailer. One of Bava's worst. 8
Begotten (E. Elias Merhige). American underground classic. This is a very hard tape to get in the UK, and is regarded as one of the most important underground films since 'Eraserhead'. 1st generation copy, with cover. NTSC.
Behind Convent Walls (Walerian Borowczyk). Borowczyk's 1977 nunsploitation epic is, together with FLAVIA THE HERETIC, the best the genre has to offer. Widescreen, subtitled print. 10
The Bell of Hell (Claudio Guerin). Very rare Spanish horror. Uncut. Widescreen, English lang. Picture rolls at beginning. 7
Beneath the Valley of the Ultra Vixens (Russ Meyer). Uncut copy of Meyer's last film. 9
La Béte (Walerian Borowczyk, AKA The Beast). Finally, Borowczyk's masterpiece on an uncut, English subtitled, widescreen DVD. Excellent and highyl recommended.

The Blackout (Abel Ferrara). Perhaps Ferrara's most under-rated film, which also happens to feature the lovely Béatrice Dalle. Widescreen DVD.
Blade (Stephen Norrington). Widescreen (2.35:1), uncut + extras + commentary. DVD copy of one of the best Hollywood genre films in recent years. NTSC. 10

Blue Movie (Alberto Cavallone). Cavallone's bizarre 1978 art film is a true cinematic oddity, revelling in shit (literally!), art and atrocity! Recommended! This is an extremely rare subtitled copy of the full-length print. Widescreen. NTSC. 9
Blue Velvet (David Lynch). Lynch's masterpiece, the best American film of the 80's. Widescreen (2.35:1), plus trailer, bio's. DVD. NTSC. 10

Bring Me the Head of Alfredo Garcia (Sam Peckinpah). Excellent weird, violent Peckinpah film - unlike anything else. Uncut, good print. 9
The Brood (David Cronenberg). Uncut copy of Cronenberg's slightly boring psychological horror. 10
Bruiser (George A Romero). Uncut copy of Romero's latest film, from European DVD. Excellent copy. I have to say that I rather liked this - certainly his best work since DAY OF THE DEAD. 10
A Bullet for the General (Damiano Damiani, AKA ¿Quien Sabe?). Excellent 1967 spaghetti western starring Klaus Kinski and Gian Maria Volonté. Widescreen. 10

Burning Paradise (Ringo Lam). Very violent Cat III film. Widescreen (2.35:1), uncut, subtitled print. 8
The Butterfly Murders (Tsui Hark, AKA Die Bian). Hark's debut film. Excellent widescreen, subtitled print. 9
Calibre 9 (Fernando Di Leo, AKA Milano Calibro 9). Classic Italian violent police thriller, with the lovely Barbara Bouchet, plus Frank Wolff and a great score. Highly recommended. 8
Caligula (Tinto Brass). Uncut (2hrs30mins). Poor quality copy. 5
Caligula and Messalina (Anthony Pass/Jean-Jacques Renon, AKA Caligula: Sins of Rome). Uncut, but an awful film. 7

Cannibal Ferox (Umberto Lenzi, AKA Make Them Die Slowly). Uncut, remastered print of Lenzi's ultra-violent trash classic. 8
Cannibal Holocaust (Ruggero Deodato). Laserdisc. Remastered. Totally uncut, widescreen + extras. Perfect copy of Deodato's extremely unpleasant film. 10
Carné (Gaspar Noé). This is the original short film that Noé made, before making I STAND ALONE, which features the same main character. Rare subtitled copy. 10
La Casa Dalle Finestre che Ridono (Pupi Avati, AKA The House with the laughing Windows'). New Italian DVD release of Avati's masterpiece features a remastered/restored widescreen transfer with English subtitles! Also includes two featurettes. Highly recommended.
The Case of the Bloody Iris (Giuliano Carnimeo). Lovely new Anchor Bay DVD of this previously very hard-to-see giallo. AKA "What Are Those Strange Drops Of Blood Doing On Jennifer's Body?" and "Erotic Blue". Widescreen plus trailer and alternate scene. NTSC
Castle of Blood (Antonio Margheriti, AKA Dansa Macabra). Classic 1964 horror, with Barbara Steele. Major upgrade due to it finally being released on DVD (thanks Synapse!). Extras, widescreen, recommended. NTSC
Cat Chaser (Abel Ferrara). Slightly cut copy of Ferrara's under-rated Elmore Leonard noir. 9
The Cat O'Nine Tails (Dario Argento). New US DVD of one of Argento's most unfairly neglected films. Uncut, widescreen (2.35:1) and remastered. Includes extras. NTSC.

Charlie's Family (Jim Van Bebber). New 'screener' of this controversial unfinished film. This version contains all the major scenes outlined in the book of the screenplay and runs about 90 mins. This is not the unfinished workrpint and is longer and better quality. Very rare. NTSC. 8
Cherry, Harry & Racquel (Russ Meyer). Uncut copy of one of Meyer's lesser-known epics. This is one of my favourites. 9

Cobra Verde (Werner Herzog). Herzog's last collaboration with Kinski is another awesome film about a man taking on the world. Lovely DVD with commentary etc. Widescreen, subtitled. NTSC.

The Conformist (Bernardo Bertolucci). Rare Bertolucci film, very very highly recommended. Gorgeous photography by Storaro. 9

Cut and Run (Ruggero Deodato, AKA Inferno In Diretta). Full uncut english language version of this brutal film from rare VCD. Good print, though colours blur slightly. 8
Dagon (Stuart Gordon). Gordon's new film (produced by Brian Yuzna) is a return to Lovecraftian territory and has been highly praised in some quarters. This is the American DVD release and is uncut, with lots of extras. NTSC
Damned in Venice (Ugo Liberatore). Very rare Italian horror in the style of 'The Omen'. Uncut. Widescreen. 9
Dance With the Devil (Alex de la Iglesia, AKA Perdita Durango). Quite extreme 'Sequel' to 'Wild at Heart'. Widescreen (2.35:1), uncut, trailers, filmographies. NTSC. DVD. 10
Dangerous Encounters of the First Kind (Tsui Hark, AKA Don't Play With Fire). This is an ultra-rare English subtitled, widecsreen copy of Hark's amazing masterpiece. It's taken me months to track a copy down, but it's well worth it! See separate listing for the dubbed/4:3 tape I also have (which is better quality, but obviously less desirable!). NTSC. 8

Dog Days (Jan Halldoff). Early Christina Lindberg exploitation film. Very rare. NTSC. 8
Don't Look Now (Nic Roeg). The best film ever made by a British director. Uncut, rare widescreen print. An all-time classic. 10
Don't Play With Fire (Tsui Hark, aka Dangerous Encounters of the First Kind). Tsui Hark's third film (released in 1980 and promptly banned by the HK authorities) has been called the most nihilistic movie of all time. It is undeniably a masterpiece and is very hard to get hold of for some reason. This is an English dubbed print from a Dutch source and is uncut, and excellent quality (upgrade copy), though it's pan-and-scanned. See separate listing for the widescreen, subtitled tape. 9

Fully uncut (with extra scenes filmed for the continental release) and widescreen, with documentary about Reeves and other extras. Recommended.
Woyzeck (Werner Herzog). This is perhaps the most claustrophobic and intimate of Herzog's films with Kinski. Recommended. Widescreen subtitled DVD.
