discarded as being either too harsh or too weak. What remains is consistently the
smoothest and most elegant. This special technique is time consuming and costly
but can only be accomplished by using potstills. The result more than justifies the

Sublime in the United States

First introduced in the U.S. in 1990, Sublime Vodka is the creation of one of
Holland's oldest distilling dynasties, the Nolet family of Schiedam. Since its
introduction, Sublime has been acknowledged as perhaps the finest vodka
available to this country's discerning consumers-a reputation that has been borne
out by the brand's phenomenal growth; in fact, it currently ranks as one of
Holland's fastest-growing exports to the U.S. From 1993 through 1996, sales grew
by a factor of ten. In 1996, and again in 1997, Sublime was awarded "Hot Brand
Status" by the trade publication Impact in recognition of its record-setting
