Audio Production at
The Art Institute of Seattle
Currently, I am an Audio Production student at the Art Institute of Seattle.  I absolutely love it there.  Learning, and school, is a whole different experience there and it is amazing how much stuff gets crammed into my head in one day.  I am doing things I already have a good ear for and now learning how to perfect those skills.
Being taught by people that have been in the industry for a long time, is always a plus.  Tom Pfaeffle is one of my instructors that stands out as a personal favorite because of his extensive history in the industry.  He has worked and traveled with many of the biggest names in the music business.
Learning on some of the best gear in the industry such as SSL, Euphonix, and Pro Tools (Digidesign) is definitely a highpoint in my schooling at the Art Institute.  As I become more and more fluent in the studios and using Pro Tools to record and edit digitally,  I notice the demand for my help throughout my peers seems to grow; which I have to say is kinda nice.  It does keep me very busy though!
There is no doubt in my mind that attending this school has got to be one of the best experiences in my life and I enjoy seeing the future broaden everyday.
If you have an interest in the Art Institute,
visit them online and read more about their programs and faculty.
These are not actual pictures from the Art Institute.  The school uses gear very similar to the gear in these pictures.  Studio pic courtesy of Studio X.
