I scraped every last penny I had to get into this house.
It is in a nice quiet cul-de-sac where the neighbors looked out for each other.
It didn't have a dishwasher, garbage disposal, nor a garage door opener when I started. I also added a sprinkler system in the front and back, a water softner system and RO system. I updgraded the windows to dual pane, and installed low voltage lighting in the back and sides.The commute to work was pretty good. I worked at IDT down by the Salinas airport. I could drive to work in about 5-10 minutes, or bike to work in about 30 minutes.
Even though it only has one bathroom, it's better than my last apartment. That apartment had the only bathroom through the master bedroom. Talk about your lack of privacy!
