About Me

As you can see, I have a few different names.  The internet has a tendency to do that to people.  I have a lot of aliases around the web (though none of them at all important), but perhaps I should start with them.  A common thread will be the 13, which is the day of the month I was born on, and has since become my favourite number.

The literary reference is my mother's, not mine, and I didn't realize all those years ago that it was either pompous, or that it related to a Conrad novel (which I've since read and liked), or that I'd be stuck with it for so long.  This might just be a theme here...

Wolfmanjack13
I used this name in a computer game, which is also where my love of Parma started, so I suppose I thought it appropriate for my football pages.  I thought the name sounded cool, and really knew nothing about my famous DJ namesake when I took it.  That's also becoming a theme, isn't it.  I was locked out of that account for a while, so my pages are now spread across two accounts.

Dibley13
This is the one that I'm most annoyed by.  I signed up for an internet messaging service one day at the college library out of bordem, and hastily picked a name a friend of mine would recognize.  Five years on and it's too late to change.

Well, here I dropped the 13, and instead named myself after the team and formation that I liked most (and that have traditionally served each other well).  As it was for a soccer forum, it seemed to make sense.

Finally, my real name comes out, with the 352 there to tie my identities together (and now the Jim part earlier makes a bit of sense).  I always thought when I was younger that I'd change to James one day, but, while I don't mind peole calling me James, or even Jim, I don't think of myself as anything but Jamie.  So that's me.
