THE 'M' WORD

I am totally fed up with the use of the word MUSLIM in the media, when they refer to Britain. Muslim this, that and the other, Muslim committees, Muslim MPs, Muslim spokesmen, what arrant nonsense. We don't refer to Catholic or Protestant MPs (other than in Ulster).

These people must first and foremost be British. Their religion has to be of secondary importance to them, as does the country from which they originated. But of course it isn't, and that is the problem.

We live in a secular Christian society and have done so for some time. Immigrants who chose not to speak English, and a vast minority don’t, immigrants who chose to uphold their culture to virtually the exclusion of ours, because they do not believe in it, most do, should not be living in this country. Immigrants who support their 'Muslim brethren' around the world, with whom in many instances they have nothing in common and whom in many instances they quite frankly detest, should not be in this country. Such behaviour via their beliefs and support fundamentally undermine the culture, prosperity and, latterly, the security of this country.

And yet this Government, and I am sure a Tory one would be no different, do not know what to do about this phenomenon. They are incapable of action, but also afraid to take any. We get talk, of course, but that is all we've had from this Government, responsible for Kevinizing and Bimboizing this country in every aspect.

Our Army should not be fighting in Iraq or Afghanistan. These soldiers should be here to round up all who do not meet stringent nationality requirements and, most importantly, the mass of illegal immigrants who have arrived here over the past 15 years, and send them back home. It is easy to identify where they have come from. To state one cannot is a red herring often proffered by members of New Labour.
