But where do we go from here? It is, as I also said some years ago, a matter of preventing immigrants, or as I prefer to call them colonists, entering this country, unless invited to do so and, more importantly, repatriating those illegal immigrants that are here, and not doing this country a blind bit of good.
At long last more sensible figures are being spoken of, ie in the region of 1 million illegals here. I personally would put that figure even higher, 1 million being in the right ball park for London and the home counties. And whilst I patently know better what I am talking about than does the government, or the opposition for that matter, I have to admit that one is still dealing with a significant margin of error here.
But Sir Trevor is right when he says that they should try to adopt our culture. The vast majority of course do not and, most importantly, have no wish to do so. All this talk of multi-culturalism is rubbish. To import these uncultured, uncouth environments to our country is insane. These people have quite simply to be expelled. They have nothing to seek here.
