EVEN WHICKEDER WHISPERS
Labour luvvie Lord Pat-on-the-Bum is finally showing us what an arsehole he really is.

How can we possibly trust Blair’s judgement on any issue, in any matter, clouded as it has been for many years. Consider this. Twenty something years ago he looked across a crowded room, saw Cherie and thought she was beautiful. I rest my case (Q Jim Davidson). I mean, I wouldn’t go quite so far as to describe her as ugly, well, no I wouldn’t…. but her features can hardly be described as aesthetic.

Cherry Blair, at a dinner not that long ago, was heard to say:  'When Tony is President of Europe....'. This under normal circumstances might have evoked polite laughter, but not on this occasion. The problem was, she meant it.

Blair had better make sure the next election is fought soon. With all the hoo ha about bald politicians not being able to win elections ( let us think back to Just William and his successor Duncan Hague ), has noone noticed that Blair's hairline is visibly receeding ?

Which head of a British security service suffers from a pronounced squint. He is also known to his staff and operatives as 'The Shit'. Apparently a memo went was sent to HR some time ago, instructing them to give preference to applicants with squints. Now I think this is prejudicial to people not afflicted with a squint. I would not be surprised if the Human Rights Act were invoked at some stage.

So, Alistair Campbell gave a rare interview. I read also he intends to stand for parliament. I heard the interview. I had never heard him speak before and he has such an unpleasant voice, well matched, however, by his ugly character. Let us hope boy Blair finds him a very safe seat. Actually, I believe he thinks he can take over from his protegee when he stands down ( and he will ). At least it would legitimize the existing status quo.

A former Prime Minister a fetischist ? Now I've heard everything. I mean, why not ? A bit of spanking never did anyone any harm, did it ?

Milly Molly Mandy - oh I do feel so sorry for Mandelson. Here he is trying so hard to get a foot back into politics via his pro-Euro stance. No doubt he takes the view that this will dominate the Labour agenda in due course. He's probably right and, to give him his due, he has the foresight to establish his credentials well in advance. But, as I said, I feel sorry for the old queen. Only two Christmases ago he was savely esconced in Storemont. I can imagine him spending Christmas, lying on a carpet in front of a cosy fire nibbling Brazil nuts. Did you know that, whilst attending Hendon County Grammar School ( as it then was ), he was one of the ring-leaders organising the first pupil revolt at the school. Not a lot of people know that, but then, not a lot of people care.

So Blair is upset at 'syringe sweets'being sold to the young. It is quite disgusting but reflects the moral degeneration within our society, matched only by that of those who should be setting an example. But Blair a family man ? Perhaps he has a chip on his shoulder in this respect. After all, his father's real name was not Blair. He was adopted. I'd love to know who his grandfather was - or is. Perhaps he would too. Whatever, but perhaps there is some Freudian deep-rooted distate for family values.

Now, were I a trader in shares, I would have been sorely tempted recently to have a rumour spread about Robbie Williams quitting EMI, and taken a quick turn on the movement on the shares. Businesses like that are so vulnerable, especially poor old EMI, once one of our leading companies. I am not surprised the flotation of HMV was not as successful as had been hoped.
I have a funny feeling about books, as I did some 5 - 6 years ago about CDs, in that it was obvious that CDs eventually would succumb to,inter alia, downloading from the net. I believe the same applies to books. A printed book in 5 - 7 years time will be a luxury item. We shall see.I was thinking about Waterstones.
