Wednesday

We met on a weekday
He called me on a Wednesday
We talked for hours
And not one moment was sour
That night we hooked up
It was like the best tea for my cup
Now we are happy
As happy as can be
I almost fainted when he asked to marry me
Walking down the isle
Knowing he'd be by my side
Made me feel all tingly amd warm inside
Our children came next
First a boy
Then a girl
They both were so pretty
With heads full of curls
The kids are grown up
And we've grown old
But our love for each other
Is better than gold

The power of love
