| Lord Greys (formed in 1999) is a regiment of the Sealed Knot Society, we are a parliament foote regiment of the Northern association. We re-enact civil war battles all over the country, Our regiment consists of pike and musket with some Artillary hoping to come. We are a very much "friendly" regiment with lots of families and single members, we are mainly based around the Midlands area, however we also have distant members over the country. We have a lot of social events including disco's, Christmas parties and bar-b-q's. |
| We do many displays and events throughout the year from small scale demonstrations in schools to large MUSTERS where a complete battle from the Civil War will be re-created. Many of the members of The Sealed Knot also perform living history demonstrations at these events, so you can come and see how people used to live in the 17th century. The Sealed Knot is divided into the 2 sides of the civil war, parliament and royalist. Within these sides there are many regiments based in different areas of the country all re-creating a particular local force from the time. |
