When they were little, they'd have snowman competitions.
Sam usually won, but Dan suspected that it was because Sophie was judging, and Sam was her favorite.
David's were the biggest, and Dan's would be carrying things like baseball bats, or hockey sticks. But Sam's, they would have expressions, and body language, and stories.
It usually ended in a snowball fight. "Judge is the target!" David would yell, and Sophie would go running back into the house before he could stuff snow down her shirt.
Then they'd gang up on Sam, because what else are little brothers for?
Dan always won.
