Ray loves that Fraser isn't Stella.
Which, ok, sounds kinda ridiculous when he says it like that, but it makes sense in his head. Because Fraser, he's easy. Not sex-easy (although, yeah, he's actually that too, which Ray never would have guessed in a million and one years), but easygoing kind of easy. He's not going to fight with you about putting the cheese in the vegetable drawer or leaving the bed unmade or something. He might lecture you for a few hours, and make you wish that he'd just yell and get it over with, but that's another story.
And he's big. Well, yeah, in that way too, but that's not what he means. Fraser's as tall as he is, and wider, and as much as Ray hates to admit it, he could probably snap Ray into itty bitty bits of Kowalski if he really wanted to. And Ray, he kinda loves that, loves the feeling of a big solid body pressing up against his back, wrapping warm arms around him, holding him. He's always been the holder before, not the one being held, and sure, it makes him feel kinda womanish on occasion, but...it's nice. It's different. And it's one of the twelve zillion things that he loves about Fraser.
