It's actually very easy. Contrary to popular belief, all goths fit into the same stereotype, so mimicking our behavior would be a breeze for someone as young as 10.
SO HERE IT IS, IN TEN EASY STEPS:
1) Watch Blade, Blade II, and Blade III. You can't be a good goth if you haven't seen these movies.
2) Wear white make-up. Don't ever go outside. This way you can look like your dead, without actually dying.
3) File your teeth into razor-sharp points. Don't brush them. Unleash the inner vampire.
4) Brood incessantly. Force yourself to become depressed. Any happy feelings are unacceptable.
5) Write poetry. Make sure it is non-sensical. Abandon everything you learned last year in 6th grade English. Don't rhyme. Rhyming is for the living.
6) Shop at Hot Topic. Chains and black leather will never go out of style, because they've never been in style.
7) Claim to be original. Forget that you are just leaving one system of conformity for another. Noone can understand the pain that courses through your prepubescent veins. However, don't become such a non-conformist that you break the mold, and stop wearing black clothes and white make-up.
8) Become an elitist. Everyone else may be on the track to college and a steady job, but you smoke pot, drink martinis, and hide yourself from the rest of the world. Don't you forget it.
9) Cast magic spells. If you cast a curse on someone, be assured that it will effect them, even if it never appears to do so. Remember, the death curse may take 60-70 years before it finally comes around.
10) Make out in public. Noone ever does this. You'll finally be noticed for the scared, insecure little vampire that you truly are. If you can't find a fellow goth close by, just make out with yourself.
