Description: No one knows where the sand worm first came from, but everyone that has encountered one remembers the encounter very well. The sand worm is a huge worm, outfited with a full carapace and posessing fifty small claws that it uses for locomotion. It has twelve eyes, each of which is protected by a hard, crystal-like bubble. The creature moves by slowly burrowing through the sand, looking for food.
Combat: The sand worm attacks with a devistating Sonic Blast. If it is able to climb up on a prone opponent, then it is able to bite with a sharp-toothed mouth on its underside. It has no other attack forms, and relies on its hard shell to protect it while its Sonic Blast rebuilds. The sand worm has been known to lay in wait under the sand, detecting creatures with its Sonar, then attacking by suprise.
Society: Sand Worms are solitary. It is unknown how they reproduce, as no two sand worms have ever been seen together.
