"Save a horse, ride a cowboy."
It has been an amazing couple of weeks and my apologies for taking so long to update, I get irritated when people don't update their xangas almost daily, although this requires a little more effort...

I had to stop capoeira.  My class schedule this semester is as bad as it could be for it.  I have class from 10-5 on Monday and on Thursday I have a PE class (physical fitness) that leaves me too tired to do anything in the evening.  I still plan on practicing with Jose, but I am not going to normal classes any more.

Speaking of classes, I am enjoying mine.  The work load isn't too bad, only one paper so far, although we have a few more things coming up.  Intro to Acting and Directing is great, although Charms warns me the professor is a very hard grader, I am having a good time regardless.

Socially, things are going really well.  Sam has fit in very well with the girls and guys of the Tolley grads.  Jason and I are having a blast.  There are some new people in the group now, and some old people arn't doing too much with us any more.

In terms of presidental duties, Toni and I still havn't gotten organized enough to try and call a meeting.  CCM is doing a meet and greet outside Baldwin on Thursday night.  We are gonna grill some dogs and burgers and get the Catholic family here at Drew a little more familiar with the people they are attending mass with.

At 8am on a Saturday morning, after a night like the one I had last night, everything is so wonderfully still and peaceful here at Drew.  Only a few truly dedicated people are up and moving around, and why should they be?  This beautiful morning is about relaxation, about resting after a long hard week.

Part of the reason for my current mood is having so much to be happy for.  Grandmother is making tremendous progress, my family is showing great support for her and each other (especially Aunt Claire and Uncle Joe and Aunt Monica), I recieved a lot more in pay checks than I was expecting so I should be alright, although we are eating out much more frequently than we did last semester (but eating out makes me happier than commons anyway.)

I am going home next weekend, the weekend after that is parents weekend, so mom and dad are coming up here, a few days after that Julia may be coming up (seeing as how its her fall break.)  The weekend after that looks a little quiet, but the weekend after that is my fall break (Forest Lake trip anyone?)  Then we have Thanksgiving, finals, and Christmas.  Time is flying by here at school, but it already feels like we've been here for months.

peace,
